My love of Photography all started when…

I was in High School, on the Yearbook Staff. One trip to the Darkroom, and I was hooked. Watching the Black and White print appear in the developer was magical. And spellbinding. Several Years later, my daughter Aimee was born. My Brother-in-law brought home a Nikon F, took some pictures of Aimee and me, and showed me how to use it. From there, I bought my own camera, a Pentax Spotmatic, set up a Darkroom, and learned by experimentation. Many thousands of images later, my Granddaughter Eva came on the scene, and my passion for fine cameras and images was rekindled.

Following in the footsteps of my Father, and his love of nature, was a natural next step, and that is how I became a Bird and Wildlife enthusiast. I love all aspects of Photography - both the artistic and the technical. But most of all, I enjoy being out in Nature, and trying to capture a nice image of a beautiful bird or animal. And learn about their ways.

I hope my rather meager efforts bring you some enjoyment as well.
